Do you accept health insurance plans?

We do not accept health insurance plans. We have left the insurance system in order to provide you with easy-to-understand and transparent fees, and to provide you with a better patient experience.

Treatment Costs

New Patient Visit - $330

During your initial consultation, you and Dr. Dan will discuss your medical history and review your medical records. If you have copies of previously performed MRIs, X-rays, and medical reports, we ask that you send these ahead of your initial visit. Your initial visit fee already includes all appropriate treatments, including osteopathic manipulation treatments, medical acupuncture treatments, and CranioSacral therapy treatments.

Returning Patient Visit - $200

Your follow-up visit fee includes all exams, all appropriate treatments, including osteopathic manipulation treatments, medical acupuncture treatments, and CranioSacral therapy treatments.

Regenerative Treatment Fees:

Prolotherapy – Starts at $275 per treatment
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy – Starts at $600 per treatment
Stem Cell Therapy – Starts at $2,000 per treatment

The most accurate way to determine costs is to schedule an appointment with Dr. Dan as complexity of your condition and number of visits varies from individual to individual. Any treatments must be paid in full on the day of your treatment. We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

What can I expect during my first visit? Is there anything I should wear or bring with me?

Please be comfortable! If you’re visiting us because you experience joint pain, we’ll need to examine those areas. Bring any relevant medical records with you, including lab tests, X-rays, and MRIs conducted in the last three years.

During your visit, Dr. Dan will ask you about your challenges and goals, then perform a personalized examination based on your conversation. After evaluation, he will go over treatment options. If possible, your treatment may begin at the end of your first visit.

How are you different from a chiropractor?

Chiropractors often look at the misalignment of bones in the spine, and most pay little attention to other potential pain sources not related to the musculoskeletal system. Although craniosacral therapy is derived from traditional osteopathy, most craniosacral therapy practitioners aren't able to compeltely evaluate, diagnose, and treat your for the root causes of your ailments. As a licensed osteopathic physician (DO) and acupuncturist, Dr. Dan examines your whole body for obstructions and underlying causes of pain, offering you a more holistic and much more impactful treatment.

Is there risk of harm when treating children, especially newborns?

Please rest assured your child is in good hands! Osteopathic manipulation is a safe way to optimize development. Using gentle, hands-on treatment, Dr. Dan is able to identify and remove obstructions that may hinder your child’s body and/or brain from growing naturally. With newborns, most of the treatment can be performed while you hold your baby—and your child may even fall asleep.

Will I experience any pain during treatment?

During Prolotherapy Treatment

Some patients may experience slight to mild soreness after prolotherapy or PRP treatment caused by the body's inflammatory response to the injections. This is normal and expected. As with any inflammation, you will likely feel sore and experience slight discomfort over the next 48-72 hours following treatment depending on the area treated. During this period, we recommend not overstraining the area.

During Acupuncture

Our patients report feeling little to no pain during the acupuncture treatment itself. If it does occur, post-acupuncture soreness typically lasts less than 24 hours.

During Osteopathic Manipulation Therapy (OMT) and Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

Any soreness felt after osteopathic manipulation is normally as a result of your body adapting to re-alignment. Osteopathic manipulation is a very gentle treatment that many patients report as feeling great.

How often will I need to be seen, and for how long?

Depending on your initial evaluation and your body’s response to our treatment, this can vary. During your first visit, we meet with you to understand your health history, goals, and priorities. Then, we develop a treatment plan geared toward those aspirations. Initially, you may come in weekly or every other week. As your body begins to respond to treatment, we may schedule appointments less frequently.

Many patients find that quarterly treatments help effectively maintain their wellness. Remember: our goal is to help your body heal itself. So, we intervene to encourage self-regulation and healing, and design a treatment plan based on those observations.

Are there any side effects to your treatments?

Our treatments are well-tolerated by patients, and at worst cause soreness for a few days. This discomfort often subsides a day or two after treatment.

  • Osteopathic manipulation is a very gentle treatment that many patients report feels great. By working with your body instead of “popping” bones back into place, you experience minimal side effects.

  • If it occurs, post-acupuncture soreness typically lasts less than 24 hours.

  • Since prolotherapy causes an inflammatory reaction, you may feel soreness for 1-4 days after an injection. If you are nervous about prolotherapy injections, we can discuss options to minimize your anxiety and discomfort.
